What to expect.

Step one

Book your appointment through our lovely receptionist via e-mail or by phone.
(E-referrals accepted)

Step two

Attend ultrasound appointment

Step Three

The reporting radiologist will send their verified diagnostic report directly to the referrer within 24 hours.

Step Four

Attend a follow up appointment with the referrer to discuss results.

Frequently asked questions

Billing Information

Tasmania Imaging is a private billing clinic - Medicare rebates can be claimed at the time of payment. All fees are payable at the end of your scan. Bulk-billing is accessible for people under 16yo and over 65years old who hold a pension or health care card. For people aged 16-65 who hold a pension or health care card a discounted gap will be available. All fees will be quoted to you by our reception at the time of booking.

When will I get my results?

Results will be sent directly to the referring doctor usually within 24 hours.

Will I get photos in a pregnancy scan?

Yes of course! All pregnancy scans will include a print out of memorable photos from the scan. A disc of all photos can be arranged if requested.

Can I bring my partner to my pregnancy scan?

We welcome all partners to be part of pregnancy scans.
